About Us

Nestled within the historic tapestry of Southfields, Brookwood Garden stands as a testament to the area’s rich evolution. Brookwood Road, established in the 1890s, was part of the visionary Southfields Grid development, which aimed to accommodate a growing London populace seeking suburban tranquillity.
In its early days, Brookwood Road thrived as a vibrant commercial hub. Local memories reveal a bustling street lined with diverse shops: a sweet shop run by the friendly Esther and Daisy, a traditional fish and chip shop, the Mascot candy store, and Marsh’s renowned fish shop, among others.
The tradition of communal gathering in such establishments dates back to 17th-century London, where coffee houses emerged as centres of intellectual and social discourse. These venues became melting pots for entrepreneurs, philosophers, and visionaries, fostering debates and ideas that shaped the era.
Embracing this legacy, Brookwood Garden has revitalised the communal spirit of its predecessors. Beyond offering exceptional coffee and cuisine, the café serves as a sanctuary for families and their canine companions. A dedicated soft play area ensures children have a safe space to play, while a curated selection of wines, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages caters to a variety of adult palates. The thoughtfully crafted evening menu further enhances the dining experience, making it a cherished spot for locals and visitors.
Recently, we unveiled an exciting new menu that includes a curated selection of exceptional wines and premium spirits, paired beautifully with a delectable evening menu. For those who prefer non-alcoholic options, we offer an extensive range of alcohol-free beverages, ensuring something delicious for everyone.
